Abstract Vision
Nr. 114
“Mc.Laren”
Even though McLaren-Mercedes actually appears inconspicuous, in grey-silver, this picture shows "colour" and excitement. The main elements of the car form the basis for my segments.
Acrylic on canvas 130 x 100 cm
Nr. 111
Vision “Schumi”
Of the strong bright colours that distinguish Formula 1 races, I picked out the intense red of Ferrari. This is how the picture red-in-red in Segment Art style was created.
Acrylic on canvas 130 x 100 cm
Nr. 33
Vision “Scala”
In Ronco sopra Ascona, on the slope above Lake Maggiore, you can find steps everywhere. From the lake, in Porto Ronco, you can climb over the village up to Purera via steps - about 4000. The segments emphasise the motif of the stairs.
Acrylic on canvas 130 x 100 cm
Nr. 6
Vision “Coppe”
Many houses here in Ticino are roofed with old, half-round clay tiles (coupe). My picture takes up this motif.
Acrylic on canvas 130 x 100 cm

Vision “LX901”
These are impressions from flight LX901 with Crossair from Lugano to Zurich at 6.00 am. The clouds and the Alps when the first sunlight illuminates the horizon. The horizon and the geometry of the mountains set the rhythm for my segments.
Acrylic on canvas 140 x 140 cm
Nr. 49
Vision “LX914”
These impressions from flight LX914 with Crossair from Lugano to Zurich in the evening show how the sun sets on the horizon and the outlines of the mountain peaks rising from the clouds reflect the light. The horizon and the geometry of the mountains set the rhythm for my segments.

Vision “LX928”
These impressions from flight LX928 with Crossair from Lugano to Zurich in the late evening show the evening sky where the sun has just set. The outlines of the mountain peaks rising from the clouds appear almost black. The division into segments increases the tension of the evening atmosphere.
Acrylic on canvas 60 x 60 cm
Nr. 46
Vision “tronicon”
Computer chips, resistors, capacitors, CPU etc. networked, soldered or whatever on a circuit board. They are interesting building blocks also for an abstract picture.
Acrylic on canvas 180 x 180 cm
Nr. 246
Vision “Foroglio Red Abstract”
This painting was supposed to be purely abstract. But when I was preparing for a film about the Maggia Valley (well-known, romantic valley in Ticino/Switzerland) and was looking at the beautiful old houses and villages, I gave this abstract painting a slightly realistic feel...
