I apply the acrylic paints with the spatula on top of each other, wet in wet, unmixed. Thus, they do not mix and combine only in the eye of the perceiver to the corresponding color effect. The palette knife leaves a strong structure.

Abstract “Green-Yellow-square”
Segment art in the square could be called this picture. It has a good depth effect due to the beautiful transitions of the colors from blue-violet over green to the yellow center.

Abstract “Blue-to-White”
A cross band of blue to white segments runs through the center of the image. In the upper and lower thirds, the segments run horizontally in mixed pastel colors. Everything is interrupted by a hard black line.

Abstract “Red-Blue square”
The picture actually consists of seven individual images, each with its own color and segmentation. The red center field interrupts everything and catches the eye.

Abstract “Stratiform”
I had to think of formed layers of earth like in coal mines when I painted the intense black fields on the canvas. The painting also shows a network of lines and fields of all kinds, as they occur in today's interconnected world.
Acrylic on canvas 100 x 130 cm
Nr. 3 Abstract “Life-Cycle”
The different stages of life: birth, growing up, going to school, getting married, career, old age and death. All this is included in this picture. Joy and sorrow, happiness and unhappiness, success and defeat. Life is colorful and varied. Everything is just a moment, a small section, a segment. Everything has two sides, changes, fades and passes into the next.... It consists of two individual images.

Abstract “Labyrinth türkis”
Although I painted everything abstractly in my Segment Art style in this large picture, it results in a kind of labyrinth, but you can't get out of it. The painting is intended for an executive office of an industrial manager.
Acrylic on canvas 180 x 90 cm
Nr. 187-190
Abstract “square Segments”
