Abstract, non-figurative paintings, painted in acrylic with palette knife on canvas in Segment Art style.
Modern, abstract, non-figurative paintings fit into our modern world. Especially in modern rooms, offices and conference rooms, entrance halls etc. my mostly coloured paintings fit, which in the segment-art style and my spatula technique bring a lot of creativity, variety and life into it.
In the adjacent details you can see the spatula technique of my paintings.

Abstract “Fire”
Like fire, the mixture of red-orange-yellow-black burns through the segments from left to right. Much dynamism radiates from the picture.

Abstract “Black-Red”
Black-red on white is the theme here. However, many other tones, such as blue, yellow, orange, brown must have been on the palette knife, which I processed lying on top of each other on black and white.

Abstract “Red-Black”
There is a sword poking inside the red core. At this point, the red seems to rear up. A very powerful image, made even more attractive by Picchio's Segment Art style.

Abstract “Blue-Black”
The first impression is blue. But the contrast over black to white, conveys movement and attraction.

Abstract “Yellow-Green-Blue”
Calming colours like blue and green end in yellow in the upper third, - like a natural landscape of lake, meadow and cornfield in segments, interrupted by black shades.

Abstract “Blue”
Although almost a blue surface, my Segment Art style has an invigorating and varied effect here. The blue also varies in many, faintly spatulated colours from light blue to violet-blue, blue-green to dark blue.

Abstract “Blue-Orange-Red”
The style of the segments, which are designed on top of each other, is interesting. Here, red individual segments were placed on the orange/blue structure.

Abstract “Red-Orange-White”
Many other colour nuances have been incorporated into the black above and below. Then follows white - quasi as empty space, on which then lies a red-orange. A very pragmatic composition in Segment Art style.

Abstract “Diagonal Blue-Orange”
Various shades of blue coming diagonally from the depths, fading into orange-white, offer a pleasant, subtle colour spectrum in my Segment Art style in pastel tones.

Abstract “diagonal Green-Orange”
Although the first impression of the picture conveys few colours, there are many colours in the diagonally running segments, which appear green-orange overall, but are interrupted by black.

Abstract “Blue-waved”
Blue-violet segments in curved lines draw the eye. The curves, strongly drawn in black, emphasise the waves.

Abstract “Yellow-Blue-round”
Picchio consistently paints everything in segments. So also this golden barrel without a bottom. A loosened-up, abstract representation.

Abstract “Blue-infinit”
Segments to infinity. Picchio presents them here like a three-dimensional wall. Very rich in contrast against the pastel background.

Abstract “3-D Black-Blue”
Here I have shown my segments three-dimensionally. This makes them particularly accentuated and eye-catching. It is putty on wood.

Abstract “Blue-Black-White diagonal”
For this large picture I used my Segment Art style in diagonal form. The strong blue, which on closer inspection contains many other colours, dominates the centre of the picture. The strong black flowing into the diagonal forms a striking contrast.
Nr. 107
Abstract “Red-Blue horizontal”
Here I have laid my segments crosswise, horizontally in red-magenta and blue-violet. All segments are interrupted by strong black contours.

Abstract “Friction”
There, cold blue segments create friction, resulting in a glowing red. The segments run slightly diagonally, leaving space for the midfield.

Abstract “Crash”
One of my first abstract paintings shows segments from above and below refracted in red space

Abstract “Magic Blues”
I took this picture for the Blues Festival that takes place every year in the Maggia Valley, July-August. From this picture the VIP poster was printed.
It shows in abstract form the sound of the blues echoing through the valley.
